Australia’s Quarantine Station, Ep. 17

We’re going Down Under! Quarantine Station is a heritage site located in Manly, which is a suburb of Sydney in Australia, that holds much historical significance for the country. The place was used as a quarantine station from 1833 until 1983. There is much more than history to this site though. This site is reportedly one of the most haunted locations in all of Australia! Join Diane and Denise as they relate the history of Q Station and details the many personal haunting experiences people have had at this location. The Life and Afterlife of John Lennon, Ep. 16

Thirty-four years ago this month, the world lost a music legend in an unexpected way outside of the Dakota on Central Park West in New York City: assasination. The story of John Lennon – his life, death and afterlife – is seasoned with legend and mystery. Reams have been written about the life of John Lennon and in this podcast, Diane and Denise give a brief overview of his life and then focus more on what is not usually covered in the anthologies and documentaries about this gifted man and that is his afterlife. Hyde Hall is a beautiful classical country mansion built by George Clarke in New York. The setting is Glimmerglass State Park, which is named for the gorgeous lake located there. The Queen Mary, Ep. 13

The Stanley Hotel, Ep. 12

The Stanley Hotel has gained much of its present day fame and notoriety from Stephen King’s book The Shining. The Stanley Hotel is so much more than just an inspiration for a horror book and movie. This episode is a roundtable discussion with Colorado Historian Annette Student, who was in studio, about the history and hauntings of the Stanley Hotel! This is a jam packed hour of information and fun!
