SUPPORT THE SHOW!
The History Goes Bump Podcast started as a completely listener supported podcast, but as we soon found out, that just wasn’t a successful business model for a niche podcast. But we still do receive the bulk of our support from listeners like YOU! We call you Executive Producers and everyone who monetarily supports the show gets a shout-out on an episode and an HGB logo sticker. We also have other great rewards depending on what level you decide to give at. We know some listeners do not have the means to financially support the show, so please consider supporting us by sharing the show. Your listenership is appreciated no matter what!
Financial backers get access to bonus and ad-free content starting at the $2 a month level. There are over 200 BonusCasts available to backers at the $5 and above levels and you not only get all the regular episodes ad-free, but you also get Redux episodes in which Diane and Kelly revisit previous episodes and rerecord them with updated information. So that’s 4 to 5 Bonus episodes a month and 2 Redux episodes on top of the regular weekly HGB episodes and Phantasmal Crime episodes. And everybody from $1 to $100 gets a sticker and included in our annual Xmas mailing.
You can also support us with a one-time donation and we’ll send you a sticker and a folder of bonus episodes as a thank you. Plus, you get a shout-out as well. Please considering supporting one of your favorite podcasts. What people don’t support, goes away. We want to stick around for a looooooong time!
You can donate in one of two ways, either through PayPal with a one-time donation or set-up a recurring monthly donation by either clicking below or clicking the subscribe button in the right hand upper column of this website and choose your level:
Or through our Patreon Page, which works as a recurring monthly subscription:
Hello ladies. I work at a warehouse for a living and am able to listen to my ipod while I work. I found your podcast on accident but have fallen in love with listening to it. It definitely brightens up what would otherwise be a very dull and monotonous day. Love everything about the podcast.
Awww, you’re sweet Frank! Thank you for listening! We appreciate it! And we’re happy we help you get through your work day! -Diane
Love the show! and I think you should stop reading the stupid (bad) reviews on air. It a waste of your valuable time. I’d rather hear more stories or more about your awesomeness!
You know what Kimberly, you’re right! I think we’ll take your advice! Thanks for listening and your kind comments! We appreciate that!
Love the podcast. l start work at 2am every morning and spend the whole day in a truck. Love having something great to listen to while I’m on the road besides terrible radio music. Thanks!
2am?! Wow, that is early! So glad we make the work day a little easier. Thanks for listening Preston and be safe out there!
HI Diane and Denise. By far my favorite podcast! The paranormal is one of my favorite subjects – and the history that you bring to us is fascinating – I am learning alot. Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into this podcast. You two are great together and I always look forward to your podcast.
Thanks so much Jane! We’re glad to have you listening and appreciate your kind comments! Keep it spooky!
Just signed up as an executive producer. I love your efforts to stay ad-free! I like learning and hearing about the paranormal and then the historical connections make everything even more real. Keep it coming girls!
Hey Ginger! Thanks for listening to the show and thanks for becoming an Executive Producer! It means the world to us on both counts! History is fun when it’s a little creepy! 😉
Hey ladies! I love history especially the paranormal. I found this podcast while looking for something spooky to entertain while working the graveyard shift. Housekeeping could be lonely. Thank you so much for accompanying me on lonely nights at the hospital! Maybe I suggest the C.F. Lott house in Oroville Ca.
Hi, Diane and Kelly, I’ve listened for awhile, started at the beginning and am almost caught up. I just listened to the McMenamins Edgefield redux. A lot of the stories mention the paintings, which are creepy, intentionally surrealistic. I popped over to the website to look at photos, and today happens to be Edgefield’s 113th Birthday Celebration! Synchronicity!
You’ve also “recently” talked about Rimsky-korsakoffee House, where the furniture does strange things. I’ve never heard of this being meant to indicate ghosts – more as a measurement of whether you’ve “had enough” for the night!
Thanks so much for sharing, Heather!
