Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary is located in Petros, Tennessee. This was an old coal mining town that only boasts a population of 600 people. The jail is basically its claim to fame and this location is quite famous for being haunted. There were thousands of deaths here and something dark seems to be on the property. Skinwalker Ranch, Ep. 457

The Conjuring House, Ep. 456

The Farmhouse on Round Top Road. Sounds like a quaint little place to visit. This farmhouse is anything but quaint. This is the location that inspired the movie The Conjuring. The legend of haunting activity at this farmhouse is nearly unbelievable. There are literally hundreds of people who claim to have had strange experiences here. For decades, the home was closed from the public, but since 2019 it has been open to investigations. People who visit claim that it does not disappoint. Haunted Green Bay, Ep. 454

Ogden’s Union Station, Ep. 452

Ogden, Utah may not seem like an important point in transportation today, but it was once the official transfer point for anyone set on getting to the West Coast. A train station has been located on this spot for over 150 years and the current Union Station has stood for nearly 100 years and in that time, thousands of people have walked through its doors. The station has seen quite a bit of tragedy. There was the Bagley train wreck, bodies from war, freak deaths, murders and suicides. Spirits seemed to have been left behind due to these tragic circumstances. Join us for the history and hauntings of Ogden’s Union Station! The Thousand Islands, Ep. 451

The name of Thousand Island dressing was inspired by an archipelago of 1,864 islands that are in both Canada and the United States. Legends surrounding the creation of the dressing are interesting, but even more intriguing are the stories of hauntings connected to the islands. These islands are dotted with villages, forts and castles making them the perfect setting for ghost stories and legends. Join us as we look at the history and hauntings of some of these locations in the 1000 Islands! The Moment in Oddity features the Black Heron’s hunting trick and This Month in History features Elvis Presley’s first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. Our location was suggested by Amy Johnson.

Haunted Gettysburg, Ep. 450

The town of Gettysburg is centrally located in Southern Pennsylvania and its claim to fame is the three day battle that took place here in July of 1863 that became the major turning point of the war. Many of the homes, inns and businesses in town still bear the battle scars of this bloody battle and nearly every location has some kind of spirit hanging around. We got to spend a couple days in this historic and quaint town and we are going to share the haunted locations outside of the battlefield on this episode. Hogestown Church Investigation, Ep. 449

Hogestown was a town settled in 1730 by a man named John Hogue and that is where it gets its name. Its first name was Sporting Green and today is part of Mechanicsburg in Pennsylvania. We ventured to this small historic settlement to investigate the Hogestown Church with an old friend of Diane’s, Robert Brandt aka Sarge, who is Vice President of the Cumberland County Historical Society. There definitely seems to be some unexplained activity going on at the church. Join us as we explore the history and investigate the haunting of the Hogestown Church! Haunted Fayetteville, North Carolina, Ep. 448

Fayetteville, North Carolina was settled nearly 240 years ago and has witnessed much history in that time. The city has deep Scottish roots with pioneers immigrating from the Scottish Highlands. We also discuss a few of the highlights of that road trip through 10 states with our ultimate destination being Salem, Massachusetts. And did we bring something home with us?
